Clinical interests
Jean is an experienced breast care nurse with post graduate qualifications in breast cancer care.
Jean completed her nursing studies at the University of New England in New South Wales. Throughout her career, she has gained experience across a diverse range of nursing specialties, including orthopaedics, paediatrics, neurology, surgical care, and chemotherapy oncology. Over time, she discovered her true passion in Breast Care Nursing (BCN).
Her decision to specialise in BCN was driven by a strong desire to provide enhanced support and accessible information to individuals navigating the challenges of a breast cancer diagnosis. She completed her specialised training at the NSW College of Nursing and has since worked in various settings, including private hospitals, surgical consulting rooms, and currently with GenesisCare.
She is particularly committed to ensuring that every patient feels respected, heard, and equally supported. She believes in fostering open communication, encouraging patients to share their concerns so that collaborative and compassionate care can be provided.
Outside of her professional role, she enjoys spending quality time with her children and friends, often over a shared meal. A passionate cook, she is always enthusiastic about hosting dinner gatherings.
