About us
Over the last 30 years GenesisCare, WA has had the privilege of caring for people with a cancer diagnosis in communities across Western Australians.
Our team of about 400 includes doctors, nurses, radiation therapists, engineers and support staff who work together to deliver comprehensive care across 8 locations. Our doctors collaborate with other cancer specialists in multidisciplinary meetings at both public and private hospitals to ensure our patients receive the best possible care.
We have a dedicated research team of 54 who partner globally to bring the latest clinical innovations to patients here in WA. Ensuring all eligible patients have access to clinical trials is a key focus of our care. Our clinical trial start-up timelines and accrual metrics are amongst the fastest and highest in the country, reflecting our commitment to excellence and efficiency in clinical research. Improving patient health outcomes in the future is just as important as treating patients today.
In addition to radiation oncology, haematology and medical oncology, theranostics is available at our St John of God Hospital Murdoch centre. Theranostics is a promising treatment that combines diagnostics and therapy to detect and target late-stage prostate cancer, providing a personalised approach to care. This highly personalised approach may help patients with advanced or metastatic neuroendocrine or prostate cancers.
