Dr Ramya Venkateswaran is a medical oncologist whose philosophy is to combine the best evidence-based medicine with personalized, holistic and comprehensive care for each individual patient.
Ramya specializes in the management of breast and gastrointestinal cancers. She has conducted research into the role of complementary therapies & acupuncture, in conjunction with systemic therapies, especially in breast cancer, to promote recovery and ensure wellbeing.
Ramya is multilingual and experienced in meeting the needs of various culturally and linguistically diverse communities. She is an alumnus of the University of Sydney and completed her medical oncology training at Westmead and Prince of Wales Hospitals. She is actively involved in teaching oncology trainees and medical students, both at University and in clinical settings.
