About us

For the last 34 years, GenesisCare Victoria has had the privilege of caring for people with a cancer diagnosis, using modern radiation therapy treatment across 10 locations.

We are particularly proud to serve regional communities such as Albury Wodonga and Shepparton because treating people close to home and reducing travel time has been part of our founding mission.

Our team of 250 is made up of Radiation Oncologists (doctors), Radiation Therapists, Nurses, and Support Staff. Most of our doctors are part of multidisciplinary meetings at both public and private hospitals. At our Cabrini centre, we offer Theranostics - a promising treatment that combines diagnostics and therapy to detect and target late-stage prostate cancer, providing a personalised approach to care.

What sets us apart?

Doctors refer to us and locals choose us for two reasons: clinical excellence and an exceptional service experience.

Modern treatment techniques and technology

Personalised medicine such as tattoo-less breast treatment and more. (View our radiation therapy treatment techniques).

Multi-disciplinary team meetings

Most of our Victorian doctors attend multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings at both private and public hospitals, collaborating with specialists to ensure patients, particularly those with complex conditions, receive comprehensive care.

 Access to clinical trials

Improving patient health outcomes in the future is just as important as treating patients today. We have a national dedicated research team of 54 who partner globally to bring the latest clinical innovations and trials to eligible patients in Victoria.

GenesisCare Victoria leadership team

We’re not just treating cancer, we’re transforming how care is delivered. Stereotactic Ablative Radiation Therapy (SABR) is available at all of our centres in Victoria.

Benefits of this treatment modality include fewer treatment sessions, minimal toxicity, precision targeting and improved quality of life for patients. It may benefit people presenting with prostate, lung, liver and brain cancers as well as some other tumour streams.
