Special clinical interest in coronary intervention, angioplasty & stenting, non invasive cardiac imaging and cardiac CT
Samuel graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2004 and completed his internship, medical, and cardiology training at Monash Medical Centre and Box Hill Hospital in Melbourne. He was awarded FRACP in 2012 and subsequently completed his interventional cardiology and structural heart disease intervention fellowship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Sam recently completed his PhD study in the area of intravascular imaging, evaluating the natural history of coronary atherosclerosis progression in human coronary arteries. His research has been presented at national and international conferences. This research is supported by the prestigious AR Clarkson scholarship. He has authored and co-authored two book chapters and more than 30 abstracts and manuscripts.
He has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, coronary CT, and all aspects of interventional cardiology, especially intracoronary imaging and coronary physiology. Sam consults at the St Andrew’s Medical Centre and our Leabrook, Modbury, Clare and Broken Hill Clinics.
