The North Shore Hub location allows us to partner with dedicated providers and act as the gateway to many of your cancer services - offering support throughout your journey.
Our treatments and services
Radiation oncology
Radiation therapy may be offered in the early stages of cancer treatment, or after it has started to spread. Radiation therapy techniques can include: Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH), External Beam Radiation Therapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy (SABR), Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), & Palliative Radiation Therapy.
Chemotherapy
Chemotherapy is an approach to cancer therapy which involves the administration of medicine, usually orally or by injection, which is intended to kill cancer cells or minimise their growth and spread. Chemotherapy can be used in conjunction with other cancer treatments.
Immunotherapy
Immunotherapy is a type of treatment that is intended to help your own immune system fight cancer. There are different types of immunotherapy for cancer that work in different ways.
Theranostics
Theranostics is an approach to cancer therapy which combines diagnostics and treatment techniques to detect and treat some cancer types.
Haematology
Haematology is the medical speciality relating to conditions that affect the blood, and the organs that make the blood as well as cancers of the blood. A Haematologist will look after patients requiring specialist advice for bleeding disorders, or blood cancers, and may prescribe chemotherapy as a treatment option. The Haematologist, may also refer to other specialists participating in the multi-disciplinary team, for instance a Radiation Oncologist if radiotherapy treatment is advised.
Sydney Brain Tumour Clinic
The Sydney Brain Tumour Clinic was established in 2013 to provide a convenient service for anyone dealing with a brain tumour to seek further advice on their management and care. In August 2021 the Sydney Brain Tumour Clinic was expanded and moved to a new home within GenesisCare, North Shore. This dedicated clinic concentrates resources for the management of brain tumours, collaborating with multiple referring neurosurgeons across NSW. For more information click here.

Free underground parking is available onsite and provided through Wilson Parking B2.
Should there be no spaces available there is metered parking or parking in surrounding streets. North Shore Private Hospital has parking in the multi-story car park.
Nearest train station is St Leonards and there is a bus stop on Pacific Highway just outside the premises.
