Special clinical interest in prostate cancer and bladder cancer
Dr Khaksar is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at the Royal Surrey County Hospital specialising in Prostate Cancer, including Prostate Brachytherapy, and Bladder Cancer. She was appointed Consultant in 2006 following completion of her Clinical Oncology training in London and a period as Clinical Fellow at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto and a Prostate Brachytherapy Fellowship at the Royal Surrey. She remains active in research as principal investigator for a number of clinical trials at the Royal Surrey, and is the Radiotherapy Development Lead for the Cancer Centre. She is also involved in medical education and is College Tutor for the Clinical Oncology Trainees.
