Dr Leech graduated from King’s College School of Medicine & Dentistry (University of London) in 1990. He then became a specialist Registrar in South East Thames working in hospitals in East Kent, East Sussex, Guy’s and King’s including a six months fellowship in Liver Transplant Anaesthesia at King’s College Hospital.
Dr Leech then completed a one-year sabbatical in Australia at the Royal Perth Hospital, including four months “Outback Anaesthesia” working with the Royal Flying Doctor Service. He was then appointed as a Consultant Anaesthetist in 1999. Other roles include Consultant Appraiser, Lead Clinician for Long Term Vascular Access and Lead Clinician for Intrathecal Chemotherapy.
