About Dr Lynskey
Dr Lynskey is a Clinical oncologist at Addenbrooke's and Royal Papworth Hospitals. She specialises in treating lung cancer, mesothelioma, and thymoma using radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted systemic treatments. She is experienced in the use of stereotactic body radiotherapy (SABR) for lung cancer. She also applies her knowledge of advanced radiotherapy techniques to the treatment of haematological malignancies such as lymphoma.
Dr Lynskey is actively involved in research; most notably, her publications received nominations for the Clinical Oncology Early Career Investigator Award in 2019 and the prestigious Royal College Wormald Prize Proffered Paper 2022. She is a member of the British Thoracic Oncology Group (BTOG), the BTOG Thymic Malignancies Special Interests Group and UK Lymphoma Radiotherapy Group (UKLRG).
Dr Lynskey undertook her specialist training in Oncology at Addenbrooke's Hospital, an NIHR academic clinical fellowship with CRUK Cambridge and an Oncology MSc with the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) London. Prior to training as an oncologist, Dr Lynskey qualified and worked as a pharmacist.
