Dr Walther is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at the Bristol Cancer Institute, part of the University Hospitals Bristol. He is the lead of the clinical trials unit at the Cancer Institute and holds an Honorary Senior Lectureship position as the Clinical Lead of the University of Bristol Cancer Community. Dr Walther is also a member of the National Cancer Research Institute’s Ovarian and Endometrial Groups.
He has an MA in Medical Sciences from the University of Cambridge and completed his BM in clinical training at the University of Oxford in 1997. He holds a PhD in cancer genetics from University College London. He also worked in a number of hospitals as a junior doctor, completing his specialist cancer training at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.
