Clinical Oncologist based at West Suffolk and Addenbrooke’s Hospitals. He specialises in the treatment of prostate and bladder (urothelial) cancers, as well as advanced radiotherapy for patients with metastatic disease.
Dr Martin studied medicine at the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford, and completed his specialist oncology training in London. During this time, he spent two years at the CyberKnife Centre in London, gaining extensive experience in some of the most precise forms of radiotherapy available, including stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR). He continues to be passionate about using the latest radiotherapy techniques to improve outcomes while minimising side effects for patients.
In his clinical practice, Dr Martin offers a full range of modern cancer treatments, including radiotherapy, hormone therapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapies, and immunotherapy.
Dr Martin is actively involved in shaping cancer care at a regional and national level. He is the East of England Radiotherapy Network Clinical Lead for SABR and sits on the GenesisCare National SABR Advisory Team. Since 2021, he has been a core member of the GenesisCare MR Linac consultant team, delivering highly targeted radiotherapy for prostate cancer and metastatic disease. He previously served on the committee of the British Uro-Oncology Group from 2016 to 2025.
I provide personalised, compassionate, and patient-centred oncology care, giving my patients access to the most up-to-date and evidence-based treatments.
