Special clinical interest in GI, urological and gynaecology cancers.
Dr Tahir graduated in 1974 from Baghdad University. His oncology career started in 1979, where he completed full training in the UK before carrying out additional training posts at St Luke’s Cancer Centre, Guildford between 1994 and 1997.
Dr Tahir has experience in the management of many tumour sites and maintains a specialist interest in clinical research. He participated as Principal Investigator (PI) in 30 national and international clinical trials, including GI, urology and gynaecological cancer.
Dr Tahir also practices at the Springfield Hospital, Chelmsford.
