Menopause support during cancer treatment

Dr Roux provides personalised support for patients experiencing medical or surgical menopause. As medically or surgically induced menopause leads to sudden hormone loss, it may cause more severe symptoms than natural menopause. Dr Roux actively helps patients understand and manage these symptoms alongside their cancer treatment.

Support includes:

  • Medical menopause – Support for patients whose menopause is caused by cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy and hormone therapies.
  • Surgical menopause – Guidance and support for patients who experience menopause after the removal of the ovaries.
  • Managing treatment side effects – Guidance on managing symptoms such as night sweats, hot flushes, sleep difficulties, and other menopause-related side effects that may affect quality of life.
  • Supportive care – Individualised support and strategies for management of the physical and emotional effects of menopause during and after cancer treatment, as part of their personalised holistic cancer care.
