Dr Lucinda Melcher obtained a first class degree in psychology from Oxford University in 1990 before qualifying in medicine from St Mary’s Hospital London in 1995. She took up her consultant post in 2006, a joint post between the North Middlesex Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow. Her main interests are cancers of the gastrointestinal tract (oesophagus, colon, rectum and anus) and urological malignancies (prostate and bladder cancer).
