Special clinical interest in breast cancer.
Dr Makepeace has held a number of appointments at the Royal College of Radiologists including the Director of Clinical Professional Development for the College. He has also worked for the PMETB and was a specialist oncology adviser to the Healthcare Commission. Dr Makepeace is now a senior specialist at the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre specialising purely in the treatment of breast cancer. He also provides the oncology support from Mount Vernon to the specialist breast clinics in the South Bucks NHS Trust centred at Wycombe General Hospital.
