Our GenesisCare centre in Windsor is rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)

We are delighted to announce that our centre in Windsor has been rated Outstanding in a recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection. The inspectors’ assessment of the centre on 24 to 25 June 2019 covered the five core CQC domains- Safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.

The CQC inspection evaluated the centre’s key services: outpatient consultation, diagnostic imaging, and medical care such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The overall rating of Outstanding, highlighted the centre’s highly individualised care for patients, observing that staff truly respected and cared for patients with compassion.

Alex Woods, Centre Leader at GenesisCare in Windsor, said: “Our purpose is to enable patients to get the best possible life outcomes through the care that we deliver. Being awarded the coveted Outstanding rating is testament to the hard work and dedication that I see from my team every day at our Windsor Centre, which is underpinned by the commitment and support from the wider GenesisCare team.”
