Meet Prof David Christie
I have enjoyed working across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW Region for over 30 years. Our close‑knit team shares a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care locally, ensuring patients do not need to travel for access to services. We are proud to provide rapid access to our clinics, seeing patients within days of referral.
Meet Dr Selena Young
We have a strong clinical team approach with a number of forums to discuss cases - from multidisciplinary team meetings to technical radiation therapy meetings to work out the best approach to manage and treat patients. We also maximise our allied health support services, which are a key part of delivering the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Meet Dr Sagar Ramani
I have strived to find and deliver the latest treatments and techniques, combining different modalities for the best possible outcomes for patients. Sharing my knowledge in teaching roles and being hands on with clinical practice, allows me to stay at the forefront of developments. I am involved in several new clinical trials including the use of Artificial Intelligence in precision medicine. I feel great pride in being part of a team that brings these to local communities.
Meet A/Prof Sid Baxi
I enjoy providing multidisciplinary care for my patients undergoing significant personal journeys with their cancer care. Supporting and treating cancer is as much psychological as it is scientific, and integrating both is crucial. With my focus on bringing new technology and treatments to John Flynn Hospital, we are proud of our achievements in delivering non-surgical, single treatment for skin cancers, as well as conducting clinical trials for advanced head and neck cancers.
