Welcome to GenesisCare, Tugun – experts in cancer care, specialists in radiation therapy and theranostics.
You are in good hands. To complement your cancer treatment, onsite allied health is offered as well as access to clinical trials.
For over 25 years, our multidisciplinary team has supported public and private patients across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW in partnership with John Flynn Private Hospital.
There is a Breast Cancer Wellness Clinic onsite and we treat benign conditions. Read more below.

Rhenium-SCT® (Skin Cancer Therapy) is a non-invasive topical treatment for non-melanoma skin cancers. It involves application of a radioactive paste which penetrates only a few millimetres of skin, treating the tumour whilst avoiding unnecessary exposure to normal tissue.1,2
Topical treatment application Rhenium-SCT® is offered at GenesisCare, Tugun for eligible non-melanoma skin cancer patients.
Advancing patient outcomes in the future is just as important to us as caring for patients today. Where appropriate, patients at GenesisCare, Tugun may be able to access the GenesisCare global network of clinical trials. For further information on clinical trial participation, please speak with your treating doctor.

We offer specialised non-invasive radiation therapy techniques for the treatment of non-melanoma skin cancer and some benign conditions (including Osteoarthritis, Dupuytren's disease, keloid scars, plantar fasciitis, and Ledderhose disease).

Theranostics is a cancer therapy which combines diagnostics and treatment techniques to detect and treat certain cancer types. GenesisCare, Tugun (Gold Coast) offers patients access to Theranostics services delivered by South Coast Radiology on site at John Flynn Hospital. Meet our nurses
Support services and amenities
We collaborate closely with a range of cancer support services and provide holistic support to patients throughout their treatment journey.
Support services may include:
- Occupational therapist
- Dietitian
- Speech pathologist
- Lymphoedema practitioner
- Palliative care physician
The Breast Cancer Wellness Clinic provides personalised follow-up care led by a nurse practitioner and a breast care nurse. The clinic supports patients as they transition from active treatment to life after breast cancer, addressing the physical, emotional, and social impacts of their diagnosis and treatment.
Support includes help with ongoing side effects, mental health, intimacy, menopause management, follow-up imaging, and navigating the healthcare system.

Free parking is available at our centre, along with a patient drop off and pick up zone. Our lift is in our foyer and wheelchairs are available if required.
GenesisCare offers a complimentary, door-to-door bus service for eligible patients in the region.
Please ask about transport options during your initial nursing consultation.
John Flynn Hospital operates Northern and Southern Courtesy Shuttle Bus services, with no booking required. Bus timetables can be viewed on the John Flynn Hospital website.
