Your core care team at GenesisCare leads and delivers your treatment. These are the clinicians and support staff directly involved in planning, managing and providing your cancer care.

Radiation oncologistLeads your care if you receive radiation therapy. A specialist doctor who prescribes, plans and oversees your treatment.
Radiation therapistPlans and delivers your radiation treatment based on the radiation oncologist’s prescription.
Medical physicistEnsures radiation equipment is safe, accurate and treatment plans are delivered precisely.
Oncology surgeonPerforms cancer-related surgery, including tumour removal and biopsies when required.
Medical oncologistLeads your care if you receive chemotherapy, immunotherapy or targeted therapy.
Oncology nurseSupports you throughout treatment, including side effect management and general care.
Patient Services Officer (PSO)Provides administrative and coordination support for patients, clinicians and support staff.

Support services by referral

In addition to your GenesisCare clinical team, we can connect you with a range of specialised support services delivered by external providers. These services are available through referral to support your care during and after treatment.
