Biography
Clinical interests in supportive and palliative care, with an emphasis on maintaining quality of life for patients with complex and advanced conditions.
Dr Momin Sid is a Palliative Medicine Physician at GenesisCare Tugun, providing supportive care to patients with complex and advanced illness.
He completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy and Doctor of Medicine in the Philippines, before undertaking his clinical training on the Gold Coast. Dr Sid completed specialist training in Palliative Medicine across Gold Coast University Hospital, Redcliffe Hospital and Greenslopes Private Hospital.
Dr Sid is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine, and an Associate Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Management. He also holds a Master of Health Management from the University of New England.
In addition to his role at GenesisCare, Dr Sid is involved in leadership of palliative care services within the public health system.
