Biography
Dr Thorp specialises in Haematology with a strong interest, and experience in, bleeding disorders, thrombosis, perioperative haematology, and transfusion medicine.
Bronwyn is a clinical and laboratory haematologist who graduated from Sydney University and completed joint specialist training at St Vincent’s, St George, Prince of Wales, and Wollongong Hospitals. She undertook a fellowship in Haemostasis and Transfusion at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney.
Bronwyn holds a staff specialist appointment at St Vincent’s Hospital, is a visiting medical officer at the Northern Beaches Hospital, and is a laboratory pathologist at Australian Clinical Laboratories within the Northern Beaches Hospital.
Bronwyn has broad clinical experience in malignant and non-malignant haematology, however has a clinical interest and lengthy experience in bleeding disorders, thrombosis, perioperative haematology, and transfusion medicine.
