Located near Northern Beaches Hospital, our Frenchs Forest centre supports the local community with coordinated, multidisciplinary cancer care.
Your care is managed by an experienced team of specialists, including medical oncologists, haematologists, radiation oncologists, clinical nurse consultants (CNCs), nurses, and dedicated support staff — working together to deliver seamless care throughout your treatment.
We also make treatment more convenient, with free onsite parking during treatment, shorter wait times for appointments, and access to onsite services including pathology and diagnostic imaging.
Our treatments and services
Radiation oncology
Radiation therapy uses high-energy X-rays or other particles to treat cancer and can be used at all stages. Techniques may include
- Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT)
- Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
- Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy (SABR)
- Surface Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT)
- Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH).
Chemotherapy
Chemotherapy uses medication—given orally or by injection—to kill cancer cells or slow their growth. It is often used alongside other cancer treatments.
Immunotherapy
Immunotherapy helps your immune system recognise and fight cancer. Different types work in different ways, depending on your treatment plan.
Haematology
Haematology focuses on conditions affecting the blood and blood-forming organs, including blood cancers. Your haematologist manages diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care, and works closely with other specialists as part of your multidisciplinary team.
Clinical trials
Eligible patients may have access to clinical trials through the GenesisCare global research network. Speak with your treating doctor for more information.
Allied Health Services
We offer a range of allied health services to support you during treatment and recovery. Your care team will recommend options and arrange referrals where appropriate.
Services may include:
- Dietitian
- Psychologist
- Exercise Physiologist
- Lymphoedema Specialist
We also provide access to diagnostic imaging services via Lumus Imaging, with free parking available..
Exercise Therapy
Exercise can play an important role in cancer care. Programs are tailored to your individual needs and may include aerobic and resistance training, guided by qualified exercise professionals. Speak with your care team about what’s appropriate for you.
The Infusion Suite
Our Frenchs Forest centre offers patients access to:
- Refreshments and snacks provided
- WiFi access available at this centre
Free patient parking is available onsite for the duration of treatment.
Public transport is available with a bus stop located on Frenchs Forest Road opposite Hurdis Avenue or Frenchs Forest at Romford Road stop.
