The purpose of this trial is to see if a reduced radiotherapy can deliver equivalent treatment response to full dose radiotherapy for patients with skin cancer.

This clinical trial is testing a lower dose of radiation as a new way of treating extensive skin changes due to sun damage in patients who may be unable to go through the regular full course of radiation treatment.

Eligibility criteria

To be considered for the study you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be aged 50 years or older 
  • Have extensive skin field cancerisation as determined by your skin doctor 
  • Not be able to complete full dose radiation treatment as determined by your radiation oncologist

Study details

Your participation in this study will require you to complete a lower dose radiation treatment course. Following completion of your treatment, you will continue to attend follow-up study visits for 2 years.
