Dr Lucy Corke is a medical oncologist joining the team at GenesisCare Maitland and is a staff specialist at the Calvary Mater Newcastle.
After completing her training in Queensland, she undertook a clinical research fellowship in Thoracic Oncology at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Canada. During this time she was heavily involved in clinical trials, as well as research involving the use of liquid biopsies in lung cancer.
Since returning to Australia and relocating to Newcastle, she has expanded her clinical interests to include the management of patients with brain cancer, genitourinary cancers (prostate, bladder, kidney) and gynaecologic cancers (ovary, uterus).
