Professional profile


Peter studied medicine in Perth and graduated in 1990. He completed cardiology training in Perth, Canberra and Geelong before doing a fellowship in echocardiography at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia under Professor Randy Martin. Peter was the Head of Department of Cardiology at Joondalup Health Campus between 2006-2010.
Peter’s clinical interests are heart failure, coronary disease and valvular heart disease. He performs coronary angiography, transoesophageal echocardiography and runs a regular stress echo clinic.

Peter is the Director of the Joondalup Cardiovascular Trials WA Inc. This is an independent not for profit research organisation involved in a multitude of cutting edge new trials.

Peter admits private patients to Joondalup Private Hospital, Murdoch and the Mount Hospital. He currently consults at Joondalup.
