Overview

Clinical interest in lung and breast cancers.

Caris completed her undergraduate medical degree at University of Western Australia. She went on to complete her residency and commenced physicians training at Fremantle Hospital before finding her passion in Radiation Oncology. She completed her specialist training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospitals, and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR). She went on to complete a clinical and research fellowship with a focus on the MRI Linac and published papers looking at advanced radiotherapy techniques with primary lung cancers and breast radiotherapy. She has also published and presented research at international conferences regarding the treatment of primary and secondary liver tumours and MR Guided Adaptive Radiotherapy.

Caris is actively involved in the training and educational program of trainee radiation oncologists and has peer reviewed articles for the prestigious International Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology and Physics (Red Journal).
