Biography
Clinical interests in gastrointestinal, breast, haematological, urological, and skin cancers, plus lymphoma and palliative radiation therapy.
Dr Susan Wiltshire studied medicine at the University of Adelaide, graduating in 2004. She completed her specialist training in Radiation Oncology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Royal Brisbane Hospital, and Princess Alexandra Hospital, and later undertook a fellowship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
She commenced consultant practice in 2014, spending four years in regional Queensland before returning to Adelaide in 2018 to take a consultant position at the Lyell McEwin Hospital, where she currently holds an appointment. Over this time, she has gained extensive experience caring for patients across both metropolitan and regional settings.
Susan’s particular expertise is in the management of lymphoma, myeloma, and other haematological malignancies, as well as breast cancer. She also treats patients with gastrointestinal and skin cancers, and provides palliative radiotherapy across all tumour types.
Susan is actively involved in registrar education and training. She currently serves as the RANZCR Trainee Network Director for South Australia and the Northern Territory, reflecting her commitment to high-quality training and the future of cancer care.
