Clinical interests in general endocrinology, thyroid cancer, endocrine oncology and theranostics.
Dr Ghosh attended medical school at the University of Western Australia and went on to complete advanced training in endocrinology and nuclear medicine in Perth. He subsequently completed a two-year fellowship at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, focusing on radionuclide therapy and endocrine oncology.
His research interests include the use of molecular imaging biomarkers to predict therapy response in thyroid cancer, neuroendocrine tumours and prostate cancer, and in clinical trials of emerging diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclides.
In addition to consulting in endocrinology at GenesisCare Wembley, he holds a public appointment in the nuclear medicine department at Fiona Stanley Hospital, where he administers radionuclide therapy, including radioactive iodine for benign and malignant thyroid conditions.
