Dr Emma-Kate Carson is a Medical Oncologist with special interests in breast cancer, cancer survivorship, supportive care and clinical trials. Dr Emma-Kate completed her medical degree at Queen’s University, Belfast, Northern Ireland and is currently doing a PhD at The University of Sydney, researching sleep disturbance in people with breast cancer. She completed her oncology training at Liverpool Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital.
She is an active member of the Breast Cancer Multidisciplinary Meeting at Campbelltown Hospital. She is a member of Breast Cancer Trials Group and is passionate about providing evidence-based care to her patients.
She has a keen interest in teaching, completing a Clinical Teaching Fellowship Program at The University of Sydney, and is a Clinical Lecturer at The University of Sydney and conjoint lecturer at Western Sydney University.
