Dr Christopher Daniels is a consultant radiation oncologist with an interest in treating patients with all cancer types and subspecialty expertise in head and neck and skin cancers. He graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2009 with a combined MBBS BMedSc degree: his BMedSc research thesis examined the in vitro effect of combining targeted therapies in melanoma cells. He trained in radiation oncology at the William Buckland Radiotherapy Centre in Gippsland and then at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre from 2013 to 2018. In 2019 he was the radiation oncology head and neck cancer fellow at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. He returned to Victoria in 2020 for a second fellowship year at the Olivia Newton John Cancer Centre. He joined GenesisCare in 2021. Christopher believes in delivering modern, evidence-based treatments and involving his patients in their treatment decisions. He works together with other clinicians to ensure the best outcomes for his patients.
Published original research and review articles in head and neck, skin, lung and prostate cancer. Contributed to national and international radiation oncology guidelines in skin cancers.
