Biography
Dr Ali Rizvi is a Consultant General, Endocrine and Breast Oncoplastic Surgeon specialising in multidisciplinary breast cancer care, oncoplastic breast surgery, endocrine surgery, melanoma and skin cancer surgery.
Dr Ali Rizvi is an Australian-trained Consultant General, Endocrine and Breast Oncoplastic Surgeon with over 15 years of experience across metropolitan and regional Australia. He completed accredited BreastSurgANZ fellowships at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, Wollongong Hospital, and Robina Hospital, and holds a Master of Advanced Surgery (Breast Surgery) from the University of Sydney.
He specialises in multidisciplinary breast cancer care, with expertise in Level I and II oncoplastic surgery, including therapeutic mammoplasty and implant-based reconstruction. His practice also includes endocrine surgery, melanoma and skin cancer surgery, and advanced laparoscopic general surgery.
Dr Rizvi works closely with radiology, medical oncology, and radiation oncology teams at GenesisCare to deliver coordinated, patient-centred cancer care.
Dr Rizvi is actively involved in breast cancer research and has presented at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Annual Scientific Congress.
