Conveniently located in Noosaville and Buderim, GenesisCare is the leading private provider of cancer treatment for locals on the Sunshine Coast, Gympie and surrounding regions. We are proud to be the first comprehensive radiation therapy service on the Sunshine Coast and have been treating patients locally for over 30 years.

Care will be managed by your dedicated consultant and supported by a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals with deep and broad experience in oncology. In addition to modern clinical care, we offer onsite allied health services and partner globally to bring the latest clinical innovations and trials to eligible patients in the region. Our clinics are contemporary and welcoming, as well as conveniently located with no wait time and access to free parking at our doorstep.

Clinical interests include skin, prostate, urological and breast cancer, palliative radiation therapy, benign conditions, SABR and tattoo-less breast radiotherapy.
 

Brad completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Adelaide before undertaking his radiation oncology training in South Australia. In 2015 he was awarded Fellowship to the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR). He practices as a consultant radiation oncology specialist with GenesisCare in Buderim and Noosa with an outreach clinic in Gympie.
 

Brad is dedicated to offering personalised care through the provision of modern treatment techniques including volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT), image guided radiation therapy (IGRT), deep inspiration breath hold (DIBH), tattoo-less breast radiotherapy, stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy (SABR) and the use of rectal spacing to reduce side effects in prostate cancer patients. In recent years Brad has presented at a number of medical conferences on the topics of skin cancer and prostate cancer. He regularly participates in multidisciplinary team meetings and believes in a holistic approach to patient care.
 

Brad has been involved in clinical teaching and has been awarded the academic title of Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland School of Medicine. He is an active participant in clinical research and is currently recruiting to the PREDICT study to improve outcomes for patients with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) of the breast and to the ASTuTE study for patients with intermediate risk prostate cancer. His current major technical interests are in the use of custom bolus for wide field skin treatments.
 

Brad works across many tumour types and has clinical interests in the management of skin cancer, prostate cancer, urological cancers, breast cancer, benign conditions, and palliative care.

After attaining his qualification as a radiation oncologist, David returned to Queensland in 1990 and commenced employment at GenesisCare Wesley. David has been involved in the development of various modern radiation therapy techniques over the years.
 

David is highly active in his profession: advocating a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, being involved in a broad spectrum of medical and oncology organisations.
 

David is dedicated to helping patients throughout their cancer journey, and is passionate about educating the community about topics such as integrative cancer care. In October 2023, David was recognised for his extensive contribution to the community and received the RANZCR Inaugural “Service to the community” award at their annual College Meeting.

Sophia is excited to be back in Brisbane where she has commenced her private practice with GenesisCare. Sophia will be attending the Wesley, Chermside, Buderim and Noosa on a weekly basis.
