Modern radiation therapy techniques for the treatment of keratinocyte carcinoma & skin field cancerisation
This education program is accredited by the Australian College of Nursing (3 CPD points) and provides nurses with:
- A series of evidence-based education modules on non-melanoma skin cancer
- A refresher to existing knowledge of non-melanoma skin cancer
- Introduction to the concept and importance of wide-field therapy and radiation therapy
The program will collectively detail keratinocyte carcinoma and skin fi eld cancerisation incidence, risks, costs, pathophysiology, current treatment approaches, modern radiation therapy options for lesion & wide-field disease, radiation-induced skin reactions, and patient treatment and referral pathways.
Divided into 3 components, modules 1 – 3 are completed online at the learner’s own pace (approximately 3 hours). A CPD certificate will be generated at the end of each module.
