Dr. Tolep has been taking care of patients with pulmonary problems in Fort Myers since January 1997. Prior to his arrival in South West Florida, he was on the faculty at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, where he completed his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.Dr. Tolep earned his medical degree from S.U.N.Y. Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y. and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, in Philadelphia. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care and Sleep Disorders. He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He is a current member of the American Thoracic Society.He has been included on the list of Best Doctors in America (since 2005) and Castle Connolly’s list of Top Doctors (since 2011).
