
Overview
Dr. Abelson is a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist who graduated from UCLA Medical School, where he received the Aesculapian Award for service and leadership. He completed his Radiation Oncology Residency at Stanford University Cancer Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Abelson has a particular focus on cancers of the Prostate, Breast, Gastrointestinal System and Head & Neck. He has extensive experience with Stereotactic Radiosurgery as a certified Gamma Knife clinician for CNS indications, and with High Dose Rate Brachytherapy for Gynecologic malignancies.
