Dr. Harvey Samowitz believes that a strong doctor-patient relationship is critical for successful outcomes and management of the total patient. In some cases, this may require high-tech or aggressive therapy, while in many situations, it may result in nutritional supplements, minimally invasive therapy, or simple reassurance. Every patient is unique, and Dr. Samowitz is able and willing to do whatever is necessary in the best interests of that individual patient, combining compassionate care with state-of-the-art medicine.

He was the first urologist in South Florida to be Board Certified in the new subspecialty of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Samowitz has special expertise in the areas of urinary disorders including frequency/urgency, incontinence, BPH, and women’s health, as well as for male infertility. In his practice, he utilizes the best and most successful treatments for cancer, stones, prostate problems, and erectile dysfunction. He is a member of many professional organizations, including Mensa and the American Urological Association. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has also served as Secretary and then President of the Greater Miami Urological Society.
