Why I Became A Doctor: Becoming a caregiver at an early age for my mother during her treatment for breast cancer was one of my earliest sources of inspiration to pursue the field of
medicine and specifically oncology. Moreover, it has always been my desire to be able serve my community in Northern California and give back to the region in which I grew up.
Philosophy of Care: Understanding and addressing each individual patient’s concerns and focusing on providing all my patients with compassionate, personalized and cost-effective cancer care.
Personal Interests and Hobbies: I love sports, watching them on television and also
participating in them as well. My two favorite sports are basketball and football and I enjoy playing them with my toddler son and I look forward to teaching my newborn son as soon as he learns how to walk. Also, coming from a family of rice farmers, I am an avid pheasant hunter and enjoy annual hunting trips with my entire family.
