Dr. Crystal Smedley attended Baylor University before graduating from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2015. Her passion for urological surgery led her to Michigan where she completed her surgical internship and residency training in urology within the Ascension St. John-Providence Health System. While in training, she was granted the distinct privilege of serving as chief urology resident.

Throughout her experience, Dr. Smedley has been dedicated to delivering the latest advances and highest quality of care to her patients with a special interest in the areas of minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, endourology and urinary stone disease.

She understands the importance of compassion and trust in a good physician-patient relationship and encourages her patients to actively participate in their care with shared decision-making.

Dr. Smedley is an active member of the American Urological Association, American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the Michigan Urological Society.
