Overview
Amy is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in the care of patients with benign and malignant breast disease. Working along with Elizabeth Arguelles, MD, FACS, she provides exceptional patient care both in the clinic and surgical settings.
Amy attended East Tennessee State University to acquire her Bachelor of Science in Biological Studies, and then went on to obtain her Masters of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) at South College in Knoxville, Tennessee.
As part of her responsibilities, Amy performs physical examinations, sees patients in consultation and post operatively, and works with Dr. Arguelles to formulate a comprehensive plan of care. She also acts as the first assist in the operating room to Dr. Arguelles.
When not working, Amy can be found spending time with her husband and dogs in the Florida sunshine or participating in local community fundraising events.
