Overview
Special clinical interest in haematological oncology, leukaemia, deep vein thrombosis, anticoagulation, myeloma, lymphoma, stem cell transplant, blood cancer and bone marrow transplant.
Dr Banerjee is the Clinical Lead for plasma cell dyscrasias and participates in a fortnightly specialist clinic at King’s College Hospital, London. At Maidstone and Pembury Hospitals, she runs three clinics per week which have a heavy emphasis on haematology/oncology and general haematology. Alongside this Dr Banerjee teaches junior and allied medical staff on her ward rounds and clinics by discussing patients and any controversies surrounding their management. She shares laboratory responsibilities with her colleagues and is responsible for reporting blood films and bone marrow aspirates.
