Description

Novel Integration of New prostate radiation therapy schedules with adjuvant Androgen deprivation.

Eligibility criteria

To be considered for the study you must meet the following criteria:

  • Unfavourable intermediate risk prostate cancer
  • OR low-high risk prostate cancer
  • No metastatic disease
  • Planned to receive 6  months for androgen deprivation therapy
Study details

This trial is looking at comparing two different radiotherapy treatment schedules called stereotactic body radiotherapy (abbreviated as SBRT) in patients with prostate cancer. The aim is to develop better methods of treatment for prostate cancer using this type of treatment, and further understand what causes some of the side effects of treatments.
